Just Good. ¶ Series: Madras Government Oriental Manuscripts Series no. 17. Includes a 2-page English introduction. Remainder of text entirely in Tamil characters. ["This work 'Vasucharitram' describes the history of the king Uparicharavasu. It was orignally written in Telugu by the poet Ramaraja Bhusana. The Tamil version was written at the command of Thimma Bhupathi who lived at Maduvai [who] was born to Thirumalai Raya due to the blessings of the God Siva, presiding deity of Valikandapuram. He belonged to the Panda family... Most probably Thirumalai Raya was a feudatory king under the emperor of Vijayanagar...The Telugu original was written in 1570AD. The Tamil translation should have been written not long after this date..." - from Introduction].
