With Leclant's numerous corrections and improvements, alternative texts tipped-in on slips of paper, crossed-out text figures, etc. Three of the 30 illustrations that finally appeared in print are loosely added as original print-ready photographs. The proof copy was later presented [to Egyptologist Prof. Baudouin van de Walle (1901-1988)] from whose library this item comes. It includes a manuscript of an article regarding Elephantine in Van de Walle's hand, as well as some memorabilia. AEB 1412.
