Hinges and corners carefully strengthened (using archival standard materials). A good copy of a scarce book. **John Langhorne (1735-79) English poet born in Winton, Kirby Stephen. From 1766 he was rector of Blagdon, Somerset. He wrote poems and with his brother, the Rev. William Langhorne (1721-72), translated Plutarch's Lives (6vols, 1770).

Return of goods
