Faye, Alice (1915-1998); and Andrews, Dana (1909-1992). - A Vintage Publicity Photograph of Hollywood Actress Alice Faye with Dana Andrews in a Scene from Otto Preminger's Film Noir "Fallen Angel". Hollywood, CA: 20th Century-Fox, (1945). (1945). - An 8 inch high by 10 inch wide glossy black & white vintage photograph depicting Dana Andrews standing behind Alice Faye in a scene from the film noir "Fallen Angel" directed by Otto Preminger. The number "67483" is printed in white within a black rectangle in the top right margin of the photo and the credits are printed in black along the bottom margin. There is minor creasing to the edges. Three holes are punched along the top edge of the photo. Very good. This a vintage publicity photo, not a reproduction. "Fallen Angel" was Alice Faye's last major role. Trying to build up his new protege Linda Darnell, Darryl F. Zanuck ordered substantial cuts to Faye's scenes. After seeing the final cut, Faye wrote a scathing note to Zanuck and drove off, leaving her dressing room keys with the studio's gate guard. Very good .
