New York: January 30th, 1933. 1933. - Sixteen words typed on a 7-1/4 inch square sheet of his personalized letterhead with his name & address printed in raised lettering at the top. Signed "Channing Pollock". Mounted below the signature is a 3 inch high by 5 inch wide card inscribed and signed "To / Elinor Ann Schloss / with best wishes / Channing Pollock / 1933". The edges of the note are darkened & its bottom left corner is lightly creased. Two small newspaper cuttings - a portrait of the playwright & a 3-line bio - have been glued to the left of the printed address on the letterhead, probably by the recipient. The card is unevenly darkened. On the versos several pieces of tape adhere to the note & card where they have been removed from an album. Good.
