A vanishingly scarce first edition of this volume, with both first and second editions being very scarce to find of this work. Bound in half tan calf, with decorative gilt to the spine.Offering a collection of sermons from English priest and poet Rev. John Keble, who was one of the leaders of the Oxford Movement. Including 'Favour Shewn to Implicit Faith', 'Church and State', 'Counsels of Perfection' and 'Danger of Sympathising with Rebellion', among others. In half tan calf, with decorative gilt to the spine. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities, most notable to the spine. Internally, firmly bound.
