The covers are rubbed and soiled with wear to the edges and corners and the spine is chipped. The pagination is as follows: pages [i]-vi, [i], 8-165, & [3]. The top edges of the title and preface pages have been clipped with no loss of text. There is offsetting and occasional foxing throughout with several page corners creased. An early owner's name is penned at the top of page 136. A complete copy which would be well worth rebinding.
