Collated, complete. 'Trial of Mrs. M'Lachlan' (the notorious Sandyford murder case which was the first to make use of forensic photography) - Edited by William Roughead. With a frontispiece, eight monochrome plates and one folding plan to the rear. Collated, complete. In the original cloth bindings. Externally, with marks to both volumes' boards and minor fading to the spine of 'Mrs. McLachlan&apos. With rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound, with tape reinforcements made to the frontispiece of 'Mrs. McLachlan', which is detached but present. Plate facing page 40 detached but present to 'Chantrelle&apos. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few spots to the first and last few leaves of 'Mrs. McLachlan&apos.
