Complete. Old half leather, smooth back with two labels. (Small damage at top turn in, but still a good binding). First edition of the translation by Harduyn. A copy of one of the most influential emblem books ever printed. The plates are by Boetius à Bolswert. From the library of C.P. Serrure, with his name in manuscript on the flyleaf.
