Savary, and the memoirs of Baron de Tott, an aristocrat and a French military officer.  In a contemporary full calf binding. Externally, worn to the extremities, particularly to the spine. Internally, generally firmly bound, with the free endpapers at risk of detaching. Pages are generally bright and clean, with occasional spots. Contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown.
