With illustrations from artists such as: J. D. Watson, P. Hundley, H. Le Jeune, C. Green, and J. Wolf, amongst others. In the original green cloth binding with gilt. Externally, sound with rubbing resulting in small splits and fraying to the cloth at the extremities. Minor fading to the spine with the odd small spot to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting and light age toning to the extremities. A light tide mark to the top of the page from page 111 to the end of the book.
