A collection of memories of journeys and voyages across the world on various ships, including: HMS Stag, HMS Malabar, HMS Minden, HMS Juno, and HMS Cressy, amongst others. Written without journals or papers to refer to, the author hoped that these pages would lend a helping hand to sailors and marines of the future. Written by John William Dorville, a British admiral. Dated from the British Library. Bound in full calf with gilt. Externally, sound with light rubbing and fading to the extremities. A small crack to the front joint with loss of the spine label.
