Written by Henry James Catling Clabburn, a British author who changed his name legally to James Blyth in 1898. A fairly prolific producer of popular fiction, he is best remembered in the science fiction field for his Future War novels. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, worn with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine with a large split to the rear joint resulting in the spine coming away from the text block. The odd small mark to the boards. Rear hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spotting and age toning to the extremities.
