This is an enchanting fairy tale, an amusing fantasy in which St. George faces the antagonism of witches (including Circe), rather than dragons.Illustrated with a frontispiece, and in-text illustrations throughout, by F. Rojankovsky.J. W. Dunne is better known now for his 1927 work 'An Experiment With Time', in which he theorised on the nature of time and consciousness. He was also a pioneering aeroplane designer. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, a little worn with edge wear, with loss and lifting to the head and tail of the spine. Spine and extremities are sunned. Spots to the wraps. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Tear to the tail of the front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the occasional scattered spot.
