A very scarce miniature almanack for the year 1718, scarce to see such an early edition of this popular yearly publication. This almanack offers a foresight of important events to be celebrated for the upcoming year, and notes of the movements of the sun and moon. Also including a list of the monarchs of Britain, and sheriffs. Bound without the leaf for July, and the frontispiece. In a full calf binding. Externally, generally smart, with a little loss of leather to the head and tail of the spine, and to the rear board, and extremities. Lacking the tie. Minor bumping to the extremities. Hinges are starting but firm. Lacking the rear endpaper. Loss to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned, with a few scattered spots and handling marks. Stamp and edge wear to the title page. Lacking the leaf for July and the frontispiece. The occasional ink notes to the reverse of the leaves. Leaves for January and February are bound upside down.
