From the walrus to the mole, the author presents a delightful and informative view of a whole variety of animals. Wonderfully illustrated throughout. A new edition, revised and much enlarged. Written by Thomas Boreman, one of the earliest English children's book publishers, known for his publishing works surrounding animals. Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, a little worn, with splits to joints, causing backstrip to lift. Marks to spine and boards, with a little discolouration. Hinges are strained, but holding. Internally, binding is tender, with splits to 48-9 and 96-7. Pages are generally bright, with the occasional mark and light spotting. Pages 59-62 are detached, with a closed tear to 59. Good Only .
