The pantomime was first performed in 1893, whereas this silent film was released in 1914. The silent film, which was made in Italy by Italica Ars and distributed by Celio Film, was produced in Italian, though this story is written in French, and published in Rome. Illustrated with four plates, and in-text illustrations.Collated, complete. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, smart, a little edge worn. A couple of light marks to the wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned with some spots.
