Five of Geraldine Clyne's popular 'Jolly Jump-Ups' books, a series following the Jump-Up family on a series of adventures, and one volume of nursery rhymes. Each volume is illustrated with six colourful pop-up scenes, all of which are complete and in full working order.This set includes;'The Jolly Jump-Ups and Their New House', dated 1939.'The Jolly Jump-Ups Vacation Trip', dated 1942.'The Jolly Jump-Ups Mother Goose Book', dated 1944.'The Jolly Jump-Ups Zoo Book', dated 1946.'The Jolly Jump-Ups on the Farm', dated 1948. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards, 'Zoo' is rebacked. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping and wear to the extremities. Marks and a little rubbing to the boards. Spines are a little worn with loss, heavier to 'New House' and 'Farm', with some spots to the spines. Tear to the rear joint of 'Farm', resulting in the backstrip to be lifting, and with an ink name to the front board. Ink inscription to the rear board of 'New House&apos. Rear board of 'Vacation Trip' is faded with some marks. 'Mother Goose', 'Farm', and 'Zoo' rear boards are faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Ink inscription to the first page of 'Zoo&apos. Bookplate to the first page of each volume. Very Good . Ill.: Geraldine Clyne. Very Good .
