The first edition of 'Day Dreams' and a later impression of 'I Thought I Saw', in the original pictorial laminated card wraps. Two early publications from Child's Play International, which was founded in 1972. These books are full of vibrant images and thoughtful poems, intended to encourage imagination in their readers. 'I Thought I Saw' (1992 impression) uses the die cut technique to create colourful and imaginative images, encouraging children to find magic in everyday things. For example, a cloud might look like a stallion galloping across the sky. Illustrated by British children's book author and illustrator Pam Adams (1919-2010) and Ceri Jones.'Day Dreams' (1978) uses the die cut technique to transform everyday settings into imaginative stories, such as turning a bath into the Southern seas, full of pirates. Illustrated by Pam Adams.Collated, complete. In the original pictorial laminated card wraps. Externally, very bright and smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, except for the odd spot to the paste downs of 'I Thought I Saw&apos. The off-cuts from the die-cut to the watering can in 'Day Dreams' are still a little attached. Fine .
