In quarter vellum binding with marbled boards.With a tissue-guarded portrait frontispiece of Robert Bridges. An early printing of this poetry book by Robert Bridges, originally published before the author's death in 1929. This poem helped Bridges gain great popularity and earned him the Order of Merit in the same year. He was Britain's poet laureate from 1913 to 1930.With a publisher's note on the text bound in to rear.  In quarter vellum binding with marbled boards. Externally, with discolouration and marks to the vellum spine. Small loss to the marbled paper to the front cover. With rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Ex libris of one T&M James to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with offsetting and the odd spot to the endpapers. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
