The story follows a young girl's journey to find her friend, who has been lured away by a Snow Queen. From Naomi Lewis (1911-2009), a British poet, essayist and reteller of stories for children. She was most noted for her translations of Hans Christian Andersen's works. In the original illustrative boards. In the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart with slight bumping to the extremities and the odd spot to the boards. Dust wrapper has minimal edgewear and a few spots to the flyleaves. Internally, firmly bound.
