A letter written concerning the state of Europe during the 1830s, with reference to events subsequent to the Napoleonic Wars, by Godfrey Higgins (1772-1833). A magistrate, historian and antiquarian, Higgins was well-known as an advocate for social reform. Unbound but intact. Externally, generally smart, with a little age-toning and marks to the first page and last page. Internally, firmly bound, though the first and last pages are coming slightly loose.
