Volume I contains information surrounding sandgrouse, partridges and pheasants while Volume II covers megapodes, curassows, hoatzins, bustard-quails and more pheasants. Wonderfully illustrated with 40 vibrant chromolithographs. Lacking plates V and VI. Uniformly bound in half maroon cloth with marbled paper-covered boards. Externally, very smart, with light bumping to the extremities and the head and tail of the spine. Fading to the spine. Light rubbing to boards, causing some loss to the paper to volume II.
