Collated complete. Sunday School Prize to front paste down, dated 1912.Irish author Alice Corkran, daughter of novelist John Frazer Corkran, wrote children's fiction and was an editor of children's magazines. She also wrote 'Down the Snow Stairs' and 'Joan's Adventures&apos. 'Meg's Friend' is another of her stories aimed at young girls, focusing on themes of adolescence and the tribulations of developing into a young woman. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light scattered marks to front board and spine. Internally, firmly bound.
