Collated complete. Published for the French Red Cross, to whom the profits of the sales were donated.This collection of fairy tales was illustrated by the noted illustrator Edmund Dulac, best known for his book illustrations for the Bronte sisters and his designs for banknotes and stamps. This work features classic tales such as Cinderella and Sinbad the Sailor.Undated, dated by copies held on Jisc. In the publisher's original blue cloth. Externally very smart with fading to the spine, bumping and rubbing to the extremities with a very minimal closed tear to the tail of the spine, bowing to the front board and very slight rubbing to the joints. Offsetting to the free endpapers with creasing to the rear. Internally firmly bound with lightly age toned pages, heavier to the plates, and occasional spotting. Very Good Indeed .
