Vrice), dated from Gissing's hotel in Rome on February 26, 1898 and suggesting a meeting over the next few days; the actual inscription is dated Rome, March 5 1898. Maroon cloth stamoed in black gilt , cream endpapers. Some wear to cloth, but a very good, sound copy in all. (Collie A.19a). .
