Original blue-green covers with printed paper title labels, string-bound, Japanese-style, fukuro-toji. 22.2 x 15.0 cm volumes illustrated with black and white illustrations of flower arrangements and Japanese text. Waseda University has a very similar copy in printing quality that has a colophon dated 1801. The preface has a date of 1799, so our guess for this undated copy is about 1800 or a bit after. The overall condition is good with worn covers, the impressions are fair to good. Complete. .
