"Belle edition recherchee en grand papier" ("Beautiful, sought-after edition on large paper.") (Carteret 1946: IV, p. 223.) Bound by Petrus Ruban (1851-1929) in full royal blue levant morocco with triple line borders on both covers; elaborately gilt compartments between raised bands on spine. Intricately gilt inner dentelles. All edges gilt. A unique copy, with the original signed watercolor by Bourdin. A light surface scratch on the leather on rear board and faint rubbing to outer hinges, otherwise fine. .
