Haruna Shigeharu (1847-1913) was a pottery painter born into the upper classes in Ishikawa prefecture, here using his artistic and design skills to organize and edit this "PRACTICAL ARTS DESIGN MAGAZINE", full of black and white design ideas and articles on such topics as the Columbian Exposition, etc. Very unusual periodical, here in very good condition, inside and out. A short but continuous run. .
