Housman, published after his death in 1936, in the original dust wrapper. The first trade edition. First published as a limited edition the same year. Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait.In the original publisher's cloth and the original unclipped dust wrapper. This work features a collection of poetry by the popular A. E. Housman. This work was put together by his brother Laurence after Housman's death and contains a new collection of poetry, with Housman's last publication of his poetry before his death being 'Last Poems&apos. The work contains a preface by Laurence and finished poetry left in a series of notebooks that his brother was permitted to publish, before destroying the notebooks as instructed and any remaining work that was unfinished. In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally excellent with only slight marks to the boards. Light age toning and spotting and an old ink inscription dated 1936, belonging Cecil French, to the endpapers. The wrap is generally smart with sunning to the spine with closed tears to the head and tail and the odd chip and mark.
