Archibald Thomas Pechey (1876-1961), who wrote under the pen names Mark Cross and Valentine, was an English lyricist and novelist. He was best known for his stories about 'The Adjusters', a group of amateur crime fighters who punish the guilty and protect, release or compensate the innocent.This selection of his novels includes his crime novels, mysteries and thrillers. Front hinge is strained to The Four Make Holiday, but is held reasonably firmly. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot to the first and last few pages.
