A historical novel set during the Jacobite rising of 1745, intending to shed light on English writer, Samuel Johnson's previously unknown activities during this period. The Dancing Floor is bound in the original red paper covered boards, Midwinter is bound in the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrappers are also smart with light shelf wear and minor chipping to the extremities. The odd mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound.
