With an introduction by Philip Van Doren Stern. --- In brown cloth-covered boards with spine titling in gilt and cover fillets in blind. Jacket features drawing of John Wilkes Booth jumping down to the stage from Lincoln's booth after the shot was fired. --- Evidence of former ownership by Denver Public Library consists of rubberstampings (including deaccession statement), stickers, and mylar jacket protector taped to covers.
