Edited by H K F Gatty. Titles include 'Among the Russians in Moscow,' 'Axel's Bear,' 'Canterbury in Auld Lang Syne,' ' A Great Botanist,' 'The Queen of Dolls,' and many more. Featuring numerous illustrations by W J Hennessy, F Flinzer, and others. Bound without the frontispiece of H Giacomelli. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally with shelf wear, bumped to head and tail of spine. Back strip faded, gentle damp markings to boards. P 14-5; plate to face p. 133, p 143-4; p. 207-8; and occasional further leaf loose but present.
