Published in French. Writing under the pen name Augustus Craven, Pauline Craven is best known for Le Récit d'une SÂÂoeur in which she intimately describes her family life. Prior owner's ink inscription to the half title, 'May EA Osborn&apos. In a quarter calf binding over patterned boards. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards and the spine. A little rubbed to the head and tail of the spine, with some scuffs in the calf to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the early pages of the second volume, which have a couple of stains. Very Good . Ill.: None. Very Good .
