A complete two volume set. In the original French and in the first edition. These volumes were written by Father Henri Didon who was a famous French Dominican preacher who was also a writer, educator and promoter of youth sports. The volumes detail the history of Jesus Christ. With one folding map to volume one and three to volume two. Collated, complete. In half calf binding with cloth covered boards. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities and joints with fading to the boards and light marks to the spines. With previous owner inscriptions to the page before the half title page of volume i and to the half title of vol. ii.
