About was a French novelist, publicist, and journalist who is best known for his satirical novel Le Rois des Montagnes, but also wrote a commentary on modern Greece, pamphlets on contemporary issues, and popular manuals of political economy. The present volume tells the tale of Master Pierre, who gives up shepherding to become a solitary hunter until he meets a small girl and attempts to nurse her back to health. Bound in a full red leather binding. Externally, generally smart. Lightly rubbed to the boards, with a little soiling to the front board. A little rubbed to the head and tail of the spine, and front joint. The front hinge is starting, but firm. Internally, firmly bound.
