A reply to Reverend George Townsend's review of the declaration made by certain Catholic Bishops, Vicars, and coadjutors in Great Britain, which he presented with a critique of the necessity of a distinct explanatory statement of the doctrines and opinions of the Church of England. Written by Reverend George Corless, who refutes the comments made by Reverend Townsend as ignorant and bigoted. Disbound with loss of boards and the majority of the spine. Externally, sound with chipping to the spine and discolouration to the paper. A contemporary ink inscription to the front page. Internally, firmly bound.
