The first edition of this work, a scarce volume. In the original French. Scarce limited edition of two hundred and twenty copies on Alfa paper with a signed dedication from the author to half title. This number VII. Written by Francois de Bondy. In the original French.  Rebound in quarter straight up grain morocco over marbled boards, with five raised bands, gilt lettering to spine. Original wraps bound in with the volume. Externally lovely with minor shelf wear only, lightly rubbed to back strip and lightly bumped to extremities of boards. Minor ink stain bleeding through affecting up to p. 71 to upper margin, only affecting minor and occasional text. Ink inscription offsetting to facing leaf. Internally, firmly bound.
