A very scarce work, rarely seen in commerce and not found in institutional libraries. Containing a series of thirty-two views of Matlock from photographs by F Barker. Printed on single panoramic sheet. Published by J J Hope manufacturer, of Derbyshire Spar Ornaments and importer of continental novelties in the late nineteenth century. Rebacked in full cloth with the original publisher's boards restored. Externally bumped to head and tail of spine and extremities, boards lightly marked. Spine chipped internally.
