A scarce work.ESTC citation number R505.A2 is bound as the final leaf in this copy.Collated, complete.An interesting pamphlet on the information given by Stephen Dugdale during the Popish Plot.Dugdale perjured himself, giving false testimony in support of the fabricated plot, which led to many men being executed. The Popish Plot was a fictitious conspiracy formed by Titus Oates, in which he alleges that there was a Catholic conspiracy to assassinate Charles II. This led to a fraught anti-Catholic hysteria in England and Scotland. At least 22 men were executed on Oates' accusations. Unbound, as issued. Internally, firmly bound.
