This is the story of an unnamed ranchhand in Wyoming Territory who, though from "back east," proves to be quite adept as a cowboy. This Heritage Press reprint edition includes illustrations by William Moyers and with an introduction by Struthers Burt. Sandglass leaflet laid in (New York, no IV: 23). --- Bound in full pale yellow cloth-covered boards with image of a cowboy and his horse in gilt on brown cover block, titling & decorations in gilt on brown spine block; brown topstain. Volume housed in brown paper-covered slipcase. --- With apparent foxing to cloth, especially to spine; and with scratches to spine titling. Interior of book is clean and tightly-bound though with a hint of age-toning to leaves. Structurally sound slipcase with some rubbing, otherwise undamaged.; Tall Octavo - 9 to 10 in. tall; xix, (6), 437 pages. Very Good .
