Collated, complete. With the first two volumes being published first as a two volume set in 1909, and the third and fourth volumes continuing the set in 1910. John Cam Hobhouse was an English politician and diarist of the nineteenth century. Prior owner's ink inscriptions to the first pastedowns. In the original publisher's cloth bindings. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities.
