It was first published in 1879.Illustrated with a frontispiece and twelve vignette engravings. Collated, complete.These engravings have been completed by Clapes, after the work of French artist Paul Adolphe Kauffmann.With the publisher's original paper wraps bound in to the rear, with significant loss to head of front wrap.A beautifully bound copy of this limited edition work. In a full morocco binding. A touch of discolouration to back strip and perimeters of rear board, and light fading to fore edge of front board. Faint spotting to front board.
