First edition of Pictorial History of the Russian War 1854-5-6 in half morocco binding and marbled boards. An uncommon work. Published anonymously, by George Dodd, a nineteenth century English journalist and writer. Densely illustrated with many engravings throughout the text, and eleven colour plates, including the frontispiece and one further plate, four colour maps and five double-paged colour maps. Collated, complete.  In half morocco binding and marbled boards. Externally, very smart. There is some minor rubbing to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities.
