Much of his work was inspired by his time as an intelligence officer in the Special Operations Executive between 1940 and 1947. It is believed that Allbeury was the only British secret agent to be parachuted into Nazi Germany during the Second World War. After the success of his first novel, A Choice of Enemies, Allbeury went on to publish over forty novels.  In the original publisher's cloth bindings and unclipped dust wrappers. The dust wrappers have some light creases to the extremities and the spine of The Judas Factor is slightly sunned. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean. Fine . Ill.: None.
