Joints cracked, label and spine chipped. First blank page and following half-title detached, laid in. Occasional light foxing. Map has closed tear at joint with no loss, and moderate foxing. Bussey, in addition to having served as a soldier in the Revolutionary War, was a merchant, farmer and horticulturist; his Forest Hills estate was eventually made part of Harvard's Arnold Arboretum. .
