Collated, complete. A record of the Indian mutiny by T Rice Holmes, scholar known for his work on Julius Caesar and his Gallic War commentaries.  Rebound in half calf over marbled boards, titles in gilt to morocco spine label. Externally with shelf wear, back strip and front board lightly faded. Previous owner's gift inscription to recto front blank leaf dated 1901. Internally, firmly bound.
