Batley, 1775 [1872]. 3 volumes. 12mo, 166 x 102 mms., pp. viii [ix - x Contents], 287 [288 advert]; [ii], xi [xii blank], 266; [ii], xii [xiii blank, xiv -xvi Contents], 263 [264 blank], frontispiece in each volume, several other plates in each volume, with the fanciful bookplate of ROBTCHALFANTPUGH [sic, for Robert Chalfont Pugh] on the front paste-down end-paper of each volume,bound in late 19th century half hard grain morocco, publishers' cloth The reprint is by Trübner and is pretty obviously not printed in the 18th century, even to an untrained eye. Given that quite a few sets of this collection attributed to Ambrose Philips as editor have survived, one wonders how Trübner found it profitable to reprint the work.
