This is a Very Good Copy of this hardcover book in black cloth boards with bright and vibrant gilt title lettering to spine in a Very Good Dust-Jacket with miniscule nicks to the wrapper at head of spine and with light rubbing to base of spine and along outer extremities of the dust-jacket.The backstrip of the wrapper is slightly darkened.There is a little residue to the front hinge join and half title page join.Not price clipped ($5) showing to the front flap.This copy has NO previous names or inscriptions present.A lovely tight square copy with just a little age toning to the text block edges and along the edges of the dust-jacket inner flaps.Uncommon title and hard to find in decent condition.The Shuttered Room and Other Pieces is an anthology of fantasy and horror short stories, essays and memoirs by American author H. P. Lovecraft and others. It was released in 1959 by Arkham House in an edition of just 2,500 copies and was the fifth collection of Lovecraft's work to be released by Arkham House,8vo 313pp First Edition [1959]. Very Good .
